Pitched up at Spray to find it far more westerly than expecting. It meant a crappy wind shadow but once out, there was wind for a while. It dropped off after about an hour so had a wallow back in. Nice to be out in the sun anyway especially as it was the last day of BST. Rigged 6.5 on big board and didn't seem to lose any planing time vs those on bigger sails. Must remember to rig smaller on marginal days as it's much easier to glug when off the plane and once going you don't really notice having less sail.
